5. Void warranty

5. Tear up warranty, it is no longer any good.
Actually I'm not sure, is the warranty only voided if you blow the car up as a direct result of using the line locks, or does using line locks at any point void it?

Racing the car at the track voids the warranty according to Ford.

Is this like motorcycles where "racing" voids the warranty, but "track days" don't?

No clue. All I know is that's the answer I got from the people at Ford.

Yes, and it still voids the warranty. It does not seem to make a lick of sense but it's true.

So obviously it's made to make traffic jams more interesting.

I think using the feature at the track voids the warranty, but doing burnouts in parking lots doesn't. . . I don't really understand that because the SVT Cobras used to be full warranty for track use, maybe that is because it was a lower production car.

Yup, as far as I know just putting it into the track mode voids it.
